God’s Promises

Tears flow from the deepest part of my soul,

And You count each tear one by one, O Lord.

When my concerns and anxieties rain down,

I remember the promises in Your Word.

You will always walk beside me,

Even when situations are hard to bear.

And when I am afraid of the night,

I can feel Your presence everywhere.

I have had my share of valleys,

I have known a mountain top or two.

And when rain is pouring,

I hang onto the promises from You.

In You, O Lord, I find the strength,

To greet each and every day.

Whether it be in the valley or the mountain top,

I will love You forever and always.
