Empty Me O Lord,

Empty me O Lord, of all my laziness,

Help me to get out more frequently.

To focus on others in need,

Showing them the way to Thee.

Empty me O Lord, of all my negativity,

The way I look at life most days.

Please fill my heart, with genuine gratitude,

And to come before You in joyful praise!

Empty me O Lord, of anger and frustration for those,

In the shadows, tearing at the foundation of our country.

May I remember YOU ARE IN CONTROL,

And You will judge each, individually.

The sins I have just confessed,

In true repentance, I humbly pray.

May I allow the Spirit to work those areas,

So I can grow closer to You each day.
