Heart Change
The selfishness in my heart,
I struggle with day to day.
Lord, make a heart change in me,
Forgive me, please take the selfishness away.
The words that come from my heart,
Are not always as they should be.
Change my heart O Lord,
Forgive me, may the words I speak, honor Thee.
My actions from time to time,
Do not reflect your love and kindness, I regret to say.
Make a heart change in me, O Lord,
May I be kinder and loving to those that come my way.
Thank you Lord, for your unconditional love,
And for helping me to see.
The heart changes I need to allow You to make,
So I may be more like Thee.
