PEW’S MUSE

February 2026

I love the Lord…I will call on

him as long as I live.

Psalm 116:1-2

I am trying something new for this

website. The first week of each month,

I will be writing a column called:

Pew’s Muse.

Since the first column falls in the

month of February, what better

time to talk about a holiday we

celebrate here in America.

A holiday we celebrate on

February 14th, Valentines

Day. We can send a card, or

a box of candy, even a dozen

of roses. This holiday is to

express our love and remind

them, they are important

to us.

I thought I would write a letter

to the one I love the most, the Lord.

He has been with me all through my

entire life. Even when I strayed

in my early twenties, He never left

me. And so, here is my letter…..

Dear Lord, I love You with all

my heart and soul. Thank You

for Your unfailing love and

forgiveness, all through my

entire life. You have never

left me, or given up on me.

Back in the summer of

2024, I made a trip to

one of the local Urgent

Care places, in town. The

gentlemen that took my

vitals, that day; heard my

Mitral Prolapse Valve. No

one for many decades,

has heard that sound.

Now….. I know that there

are no accidents with

You Lord. Especially,

since there was a Heart

Doctor, in the building,

that day.

The Doctor got the ball

rolling, so to speak. Soon,

I was taking this test, and that.

Before I knew it, I was in the

office of a Heart Surgeon.

Within a few months, I was

having Open Heart Surgery.

It was a success. I lost a lot

of weight, and I was eating

better. I exercise daily, and I

made it through Cardio

Rehab.

Thank You Lord, for my

husband, who was

there the whole way, and for

all the wonderful people,

You put in my path. You

are an Amazing, Awesome

God! Whether I have been in

the valley, or on a mountain

top, You have been there

with me. For when I am weak,

Thou art strong. You are my

salvation, and my strength.

I will love You forever, O

Lord.

Your Servant, Pamela

See you next month, my friends!
