The Christmas Story

In a lowly stable,

On a cold winter night.

Lies a newborn babe,

Wrapped in Heavenly Light.

A young mother smiles,

As she holds her new Son.

Praising God up above,

For what He had done.

The three wisemen,

Guided by the bright star.

Brought gifts to the Child,

From places afar.

The shepherds stood by,

And worshiped the King.

Giving praise to the Father,

For what they had seen.

The angels that night,

Proclaimed of God’s plan.

That would save us from sin,

When God became man.

The Word became flesh and made

his dwelling among us.
