An Empty Cross

An empty cross, the symbol of,

God’s love for you and me.

He sent His Son to pay the price,

Upon Mount Calvary.

An empty cross once stained with blood,

A lamb was crucified.

As Jesus bore the sins of all,

For us, He bled and died.

An empty cross, praise God on high!

Tells of the V I C T O R Y !

Jesus broke the chains of death and hell,

Now He lives for all eternity.

I will always cling to the empty cross,

For I asked the Lord to forgive all my sins.

And allowing His Spirit to change my heart,

Living a new life fully for Him.
