A Thanksgiving Prayer

Thank You Lord, for this special day.

Of life You have granted me.

And for all the many blessings,

You have given so abundantly.

Thank You for my family,

And protecting us each day.

For showing us your love and mercy,

And grace along the way.

Thank You Lord, for the pain,

I have throughout the day.

Help me to be gracious,

And give you all the praise.

On this Thanksgiving Day,

I humbly bow and pray.

For all of those who come before me,

Through blood and sacrifice; paved the way
