God’s Plan
In His image God made man,
When He created all that there is.
But satan slithered into the heart of man,
So God our creator, began to implement this plan.
Out of the stump of Jesse,
A tender shoot will come forth.
A remnant left, like the roots of a tree,
Giving hope to the lost, by setting us free!
Born of the virgin Mary,
The Incarnate Christ was God’s Son,
Who would take up the cross and carry,
The sins of everyone.
Jesus died and rose again,
And if we ask Jesus into our heart
We will be born again,
And live forever with Him.
